Khí dầu mỏ hóa lỏng (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) là hỗn hợp hydrocacbon gồm chủ yếu là butan (C4H10) và propan (C3H8). Thành phần hỗn hợp trên chiếm ít nhất 95% khối lượng. Ở nhiệt độ, áp suất bình thường LPG ở thể khí, khí được nén đến một áp suất hoặc làm lạnh đến nhiệt độ nhất định từ đó LPG chuyển sang thể lỏng.
